It's truly wonderful to enjoy yourselves to the fullest outdoors on the beach with a sea view and music. Or of course, with an extensive BBQ, which is absolutely fantastic in the summer or in the spring on a beautiful day.

Even if the weather is a bit iffy, we have the best setting for celebrating. We always ensure it will be a worldly company party with an unforgettable memory for the staff. All the ingredients are there for it, and of course, our fantastic kitchen.

Capacity for small and large staff parties

Strandrestaurant Scheveningen has the capacity to make both small and large corporate parties a success. In total, there are seating places available for 620 people. The capacity is even greater when it comes to parties and events. When using the beach in front of us, we have space for more than 1,000 people. On the front terrace, we have standing room for 400 people and seating for 180 people. There are 250 standing places and 180 seating places available at the stage.

The terrace at the front provides 100 standing places and 78 seats. We also have a box with space for 125 standing persons and 76 seated persons. Inside there is space for 150 persons in a standing area and for 85 persons in a seating area. We also have sufficient capacity available for your company outing in Scheveningen. From drinks with ten colleagues to a party with over a thousand guests. Inside, 85 people are seated and 150 are standing, on the front terrace there is standing room for 400 and seating for 180. Altogether we have seating for 620 people, and for the very largest parties we use the beach.

Can we hire the whole beach restaurant exclusively?

Yes, that's possible. You will then have the entire pavilion exclusively for your company, both inside and out. Tell us your date and the number of guests, and we will check immediately whether that day is available.

What party packages do you offer?

You can choose from Drinks & Bites, a walking dinner, a seated multi-course dinner or a BBQ on the beach. Everything comes from our international kitchen, with vegetarian and vegan options. Would you prefer something else? Then we will tailor the package to your schedule.

Until what time can a company party go on?

Werelds has a late-night licence, so you can party on into the small hours. We will agree on the end time during the intake meeting so that it suits your programme and transport home.

Can we bring our own DJ or band?

I'd love that. We have a stage and a professional lighting and sound system, and plenty of experience with DJs and live music. If you are bringing your own act, please let us know in advance so we can coordinate the technical requirements and setup time.

Do you also cater the dinner prior to the party?

Yes. Many companies start with a drink on the terrace, sit down for a dinner or a BBQ, and then go wild at the party. Our kitchen keeps going all evening, so a late-night bite in between is no problem either.

Boulevard car park on Strandweg is a one-minute walk away and Zwarte Pad car park is two minutes. If your colleagues are coming by public transport, it is tram 9 or bus 22 from The Hague Central Station, getting off at the Zwarte Pad stop.
